The removable plastic grid helps clean between the teeth of the chopper. The chopper sits securely on top of the large base, so when you press down on the chopper the diced food falls right through to the base container. The large capacity base holds up to forty ounces. Just lift the top portion up and you can easily dump chopped food out of the base without disassembling the unit. The lid is designed to provide leverage for efficient chopping with a 4-inch handle. This set includes three, sixteen ounce storage containers with snap on lids to easily prep ahead and store for later. The chopper is easy to clean and disassemble hand wash only. The chopper measures 4 1/2" H x 4 1/2" x 9 1/2" L.
